Full-Time | 5-Day Roster | Doonside | $65,000 + Super
Starlight Bakery is looking for an experienced Full-Time Barista to join our team.
As we continue to grow and develop our bakery and café offering, we’re looking for someone who cares about making good coffee, enjoys working with customers and can stay organised and consistent during busy service periods.
About the role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing espresso-based coffees and other beverages
- Maintaining consistent coffee quality throughout service
- Taking customer orders and processing sales
- Providing friendly and efficient customer service
- Maintaining the coffee station, equipment and front-of-house areas
- Restocking coffee, milk and other supplies
- Assisting the wider front-of-house team when required
About you
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has at least 2 years’ experience as a barista or in a similar café or hospitality role
- Has strong espresso preparation and milk-texturing skills
- Is confident working during busy service periods
- Has positive customer service and communication skills
- Is reliable and works well within a team
- Can work 5 days per week
- Is available to work at least one weekend day
- Has retail or sales experience, which would be an advantage
- Has Tagalog language skills, which would be an advantage but are not essential
Pay
Starting salary: $65,000 + super, subject to experience, classification and applicable award entitlements.
