You’ll be working behind the scenes at iconic venues such as the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre and Brisbane Showgrounds, helping build events enjoyed by thousands.

What You’ll Be Doing
As an Event Labourer, your duties will include:
- Manual handling and movement of event equipment and materials
- Spotting the Forklift drivers inside the Venue
- Assisting with bump-in and bump-out of exhibitions and events
- Working alongside event crews to meet tight timelines
- Following all site safety procedures and WHS requirements
No two shifts are the same — every event and venue is different.
What We’re Looking For
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- Previous labouring or manual handling experience (events experience an advantage)
- Ability to perform physical work and lift heavy items safely
- Availability to commence in May
- A strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude
- Your own high-vis clothing & steel-capped boots
- Unrestricted Australian working rights
