Job Description

Your opportunity

As our Water and Sewerage Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of safe, reliable and sustainable water and sewerage services across the Shire. Reporting to the Deputy Director of Infrastructure, you will lead a dedicated team responsible for the operation, maintenance and compliance of Council's water and sewerage infrastructure, directly contributing to the health, wellbeing and growth of our community.

With integrity and pride, you will:

Lead & supervise the day-to-day operations of Council's water and sewerage service

Coordinate maintenance programs, repairs and improvement project

Identify and recommend improvements Manage the operation of the water and sewerage treatment plants and associated pump stations Prepare and provide cost estimates for works

What you'll bring

You are a hands-on leader who is passionate about fostering a positive workplace culture and delivering high-quality outcomes for our Council and our community. To thrive in this role, you will have:

Trade Qualification in Plumbing

Minimum 5 years practical and/or supervisory experience Working knowledge of legislation and standards; Working knowledge of on-site domestic wastewater management Knowledge of local authority water and sewerage infrastructure operations

Although it’s not essential, it would be great if you had:

Local Government experience

Relevant Plant operator certificates of competencies 'HR' class Drivers Licence (or ability to obtain)
