A family-owned small business based in Perth seeks a proactive candidate to join our team. LAC Group operates in a variety of industry sectors including domestic and commercial construction, commercial laundry equipment and operations, design, and technology. We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Laundry Attendant for our laundry operations who has a passion for sorting, washing, folding and ironing laundry.
Position Description
- Able to manually sort, wash, dry, fold and iron clothing and other textile items.
- Locate stain markings, determine stain type and apply the appropriate cleaning agents.
- Determine wash types by fabric or description.
- Complete daily run sheets including cleaning of equipment and work area as required.
- Interact with customers in a professional and knowledgeable manner.

- Immediate Start.
- Part Time (minimum 15 hours per week).

- Part time with no more then 5 hour shifts per day.

- Monday 7AM to 12PM
- Wednesday 1PM to 6PM
- Thursday 1PM to 6PM
- Shift 2 (Laundry Services)
- Monday 1PM to 6PM
- Tuesday 1PM to 6PM
- Friday 10AM to 3PM
- Shift 3 (Ironing Only)
- Wednesday 10AM to 2PM
- Thursday 10AM to 2PM
- Friday 10AM to 2PM
Essential Criteria
- Valid C Class driver’s licence with reliable transport.
- Must be always reliable and punctual.
- Strong commitment to safety – the use of PPE is mandatory.
- Able to complete a Drug and Alcohol Screening.
- Able to understand and communicate effectively with well-spoken English.
- Self-motivated, you take pride in your work and appearance.
- An enthusiastic, hard-working and reliable professional.
- Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
- Familiar with cleaning agents and operation of laundry equipment.
- Able to stand unassisted for extended periods of time .
- Able to safely undertake manual handling tasks in a physically demanding role.
- Able to interpret daily run sheets, follow work instructions and have sound time management skills.
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferable but not essential.
- Able to commence work at 7.00 AM at Canning Vale is preferable but not essential.
