Psychologist / Clinical Psychologist – Eating Disorders

Balwyn North, Melbourne | Flexible Days | 65–70% of Billings | Multidisciplinary Practice

Pre-Emptive Healthcare is looking for a Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist with some eating-disorder experience who would like to develop this area of their practice within an established multidisciplinary team.

You can build an eating-disorder caseload alongside other presentations that interest you. There is no expectation that your caseload be exclusively focused on eating disorders.

One or more regular consulting days are available, with flexibility around days and hours.

Multidisciplinary practice

Our team includes psychologists, clinical psychologists, psychiatrists and an on-site dietitian.

This provides opportunities for internal referral, clinical discussion and coordinated care when appropriate, particularly for clients who benefit from psychological, psychiatric and dietetic input.

We receive referrals for presentations including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, ARFID, OSFED,



disordered eating and body image concerns.

Experience with approaches such asCBT-E and/or FBTis highly regarded. ANZAED Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician status is also highly regarded but is not essential.

We welcome clinicians who already have some experience working with eating disorders and would like to continue developing their skills and caseload in this area.

About you

You’ll need:

- Current registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA
- Some prior clinical experience working with eating disorders
- Relevant training and an interest in further developing this area
- Appropriate professional indemnity insurance
- Capacity to practise independently within your professional scope

Clinical Psychology endorsement is welcome but not essential.
