About the role

We are seeking an experienced Farm Maintenance & Machinery Operator for a varied, hands-on role across three rural properties in Gleneagle, Bromelton and Silverdale.

Based in Gleneagle, you will operate trucks and farm machinery, undertake repairs and maintenance, and help keep our farms running smoothly.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Operating HC trucks, skid-steers and tractors.
- Removing poultry litter, transporting machinery and disposing of poultry waste.
- Maintaining and repairing poultry sheds, including fans, pumps, doors, drinkers and feeders.
- Undertaking general property maintenance, fencing, slashing and spraying.
- Maintaining farm machinery and equipment.

About you





You will have a strong farming background, practical maintenance skills and experience operating heavy vehicles and farm machinery. You will be reliable, safety-conscious and comfortable working independently.

You will need:

- At least three years of relevant experience.
- A current HC licence and manual car licence.
- Competency operating trucks, skid-steers and tractors.
- A practical approach to identifying problems and completing repairs.
- Flexibility to work some weekends as farm operations require.
