Bright, Curious and Hardworking? We'll Teach You Sleep Health

Sleep Life Australia
Murdoch, Midland or Wanneroo WA
Full-time or part-time

No nights. No weekends. No on-call. Core hours are 9.00 am to 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday.

Sleep or CPAP experience is welcome but not essential.

We are looking for intelligent, curious people with a strong work ethic who want to build genuine expertise in sleep health. You might come from nursing, pharmacy, dental, audiology, optometry, allied health or another patient-facing role. You might come from science, research or a technical background. You might already know CPAP inside out.

We can teach you sleep diagnostics and CPAP therapy. What you bring is sharp thinking, sound judgement, initiative and the ability to look after people well.

About the role

You will work directly with patients through their sleep diagnosis and treatment journey. Your responsibilities will include:

- Conducting consultations for home-based sleep studies
- Setting up sleep study equipment and educating patients on its use
- CPAP therapy setups, mask fitting and treatment education
- Reviewing therapy progress and supporting patients with treatment concerns
- Troubleshooting equipment, mask and therapy issues
- Ongoing patient care and follow-up
- Maintaining accurate and timely clinical records
- Equipment cleaning, maintenance and infection control
- Communicating with referring doctors and other healthcare providers

Our clinicians also rotate through clinic administration: appointments, patient communications, clinical records and the day-to-day flow of the clinic.

Understanding the admin side of the patient journey makes our clinicians better at the clinical side, and keeps the whole clinic working as one team.

Hours

Full-time and part-time positions are available at Murdoch, Midland and Wanneroo. All roles are worked within 9.00 am to 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday. Part-time hours need to sit within that window. We are not able to offer school-hours arrangements.

What we are looking for

- Intelligence, curiosity and a willingness to learn complex clinical and technical information
- A strong work ethic and the initiative to follow an issue through rather than pass it on
- The ability to build trust with patients and communicate with confidence
- Accurate administration and sound computer skills
- Patient-facing experience (healthcare, pharmacy, dental, allied health or similar) is highly regarded, but a bright, driven person without it will be considered

Sleep or CPAP experience is welcome but not essential.

Training

Sleep health is a specialised, technical field, so we provide structured training in home-based sleep studies, CPAP therapy, equipment, software and patient care. Once you are competent, you will be trusted to work independently and take real ownership of your patients.

From there,

experienced clinicians move into senior clinical roles, training and mentoring newer staff, or clinic leadership.

Why join us

- Consistent daytime hours, Monday to Friday
- Full-time and part time options at three Perth clinics
- A varied role spanning diagnostics, therapy and ongoing patient care
- Real ownership of your patients and workload once you are signed off
- Ongoing professional development in a specialised field
- An established team that takes clinical standards seriously

How to apply

We are a clinic, but we are also a group of people who spend a lot of time together, so we want to know a bit about you as well as your experience.

Send your resume and a short cover letter answering these three questions. Two are responsible. One is not.

- Tell us about a difficult patient, customer or technical problem you worked through. What did you do?
- Describe the best team you have worked in. What made it good, and what did you add?
- What is something you have taught yourself simply because you were curious?

Please also tell us your preferred clinic and whether you want full-time or part-time work. Applications without a cover letter will not be reviewed.

Applications are reviewed as they arrive, so apply early.

Applications close 5 November 2026
