About the Role

Pristine Care is seeking a reliable, calm and person-centred Female Support Worker to provide ongoing support to a female participant in the Werribee.

This role is best suited to someone who values consistency, patience and relationship-building. The successful applicant will understand that the participant is the decision-maker and will support her choices, routines and preferences without attempting to force change.

This is not a role for someone looking for occasional or short-term shifts. We are seeking a Support Worker who can commit to an ongoing, consistent roster and become a trusted part of the participant’s support team.

About the Support Arrangement

We are offering a casual ongoing roster with regular weekly shifts.

Support hours:

Monday to Thursday
8:30 AM – 2:00 PM

Minimum availability required:

- Ability to commit to at least 2 regular days per week
- Preference given to applicants who can provide ongoing availability and consistency

The ideal Support Worker will:

- Be calm, patient and emotionally aware
- Build trust through consistency and respectful communication
- Understand that the participant makes her own decisions and choices
- Support routines rather than pushing unnecessary changes
- Take initiative while maintaining appropriate boundaries
- Communicate openly about any changes, concerns or observations
- Provide reassurance and encouragement without being directive
- Understand that quality support is about listening, respecting and empowering the participant

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities may include:

- Providing companionship and emotional support at home
- Supporting community access,



including transport to appointments
- Assisting with grocery shopping and medication collection
- Making phone calls on behalf of the participant when required, including communication with health support teams
- Following established crisis support guidance when required
- Supporting daily routines and personal preferences
- Assisting with errands and practical tasks
- Providing support in a family environment where children may occasionally be present

About You

Above requirement is.a MUST:

✅ Female Support Worker aged 25 years or older
✅ Experience supporting people with disability, mental health or complex needs
✅ A calm and respectful approach
✅ Ability to build long-term professional relationships
✅ Strong communication skills
✅ Reliability and commitment to regular ongoing shifts
✅ Confidence working independently in a participant’s home
✅ Comfortable supporting a home setting with a friendly dog and cat

Essential Requirements

- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working With Children Check
- First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Australian Driver Licence
- Reliable vehicle with insurance
- Previous disability/community support experience preferred
