Kids Uni are seeking passionate Certificate III qualified educators to join our child‑focused team on a casual basis across our four services in the Illawarra region:

You will be supported and mentored by Teachers and Diploma staff, as well as a Room Leader, to ensure you are receiving direction and guidance from our experienced team. Kids Uni are passionate about continuous improvement, and to support this, we offer extensive paid training and development opportunities for our staff to have every opportunity to learn and grow.
- Plan and deliver engaging, intentional learning experiences for children
- Build responsive, nurturing relationships with children and families
- Implement the Circle of Security approach in daily interactions
- Maintain accurate documentation and use information technology for record‑keeping
- Adhere to the National Quality Standards, Regulations, and the Approved Learning Framework
- Provide first aid and manage emergencies, including anaphylaxis and asthma
- Collaborate with team members, teachers, and room leaders to support continuous improvement
- Participate in after‑hours meetings, training, and professional development sessions
- Support families through clear communication and partnership building
- Problem‑solve operational issues promptly and effectively
- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Current HLTAID004 certification, including anaphylaxis and asthma management
- Solid knowledge of NQS, Regulations, and the Approved Learning Framework
- Demonstrated ability to use purposeful, intentional teaching strategies
- Excellent communication and partnership skills with families and colleagues
- Effective problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities
- Team‑oriented, reflective, and open to ongoing learning
