We at LikeMinds Studio are a dynamic rapidly growing hospitality design company located in Roseberry NSW who creates bespoke designs for clients in Australia. We assist our clients to deliver solutions including but not limited to concept design, layout, equipment specification, FF&E;, documentation and design. We are seeking an amazing Mid-Level Interior Designer to join our team.
In your role you will be working within our team and responsible for:
- Assist the lead designer and lead projects to create unique designs
- develop outstanding interior designs
- assist in creating concept presentation
- act as the main POC across a number of projects
- assist in managing design projects including approvals
- Prepare and modify drawings including construction drawings and tendering
- Preparing and modifying DA drawings, construction drawings, and tender packages
- Liaising with third parties including builders and contractors involved in the project to grasp a full and holistic understanding to ensure the smooth delivery of the projects
- Ensure drawing accuracy for project work
- Ensuring drawings are produced in accordance with relevant legislation and according to specifications
- manage projects across their full life cycle
Qualifications:
- Tertiary Qualification in a similar field
- Knowledge of Australian building codes, planning regulations, and compliance standards
Experience:
- Minimum 5+ years experience is desirable
- Experience in drafting and detailing for hospitality, or commercial projects
Skills:
- Strong creative and communication
- Strong project managment
- robust client facing
- Strong architectural drafting and documentation skills
- Proficiency in Archicad
- Understanding of spatial planning, design principles, and joinery detailing
- Ability to interpret architectural concepts and translate them into working drawings
- Ability to manage the full project life cycle
