We are looking for an experienced Rear Lift Driver / Operator to join our team.
What You'll Do
- Drive a rear lift waste truck.
- Collect and empty waste and recycling bins.
- Follow assigned collection routes.
- Complete daily vehicle safety checks.
- Keep the vehicle clean and well maintained.
- Follow all safety and road rules.
- Report any vehicle issues, hazards, or incidents.
- Complete basic paperwork and route records.
What We're Looking For
- Current HR licence or higher.
- Strong knowledge of heavy vehicle operation and road safety.
- Protected and reliable work habits.
- Good communication skills.
- Able to work independently.
- Physically fit for the role.
- Previous experience with rear lift, side lift, hook lift or similar equipment will be advantageous.
Waste industry experience is preferred but not essential. Drivers with strong heavy vehicle experience are encouraged to apply.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 2:00am starts
- 9 to 12-hour shifts
- Alternate weekend roster (Saturday or Sunday)
- Must be flexible with working hours
Safety Requirements
- Complete daily vehicle checks.
- Wear required PPE.
- Follow all WHS and company safety procedures.
- Report hazards and incidents promptly.
