Torquay State School has 125 years of educating young people within the local community.
We have a unique community where our entire staff feel and demonstrate a collective responsibility for each child's learning and development.
This represents an incredible cooperative approach where each student is nurtured from year to year with teachers maintaining a consistent interest in each child's success.
We encourage our children to dream big and to work hard for their futures. In our classrooms our students learn the important skills of friendship, persistence, determination, resilience and motivation.
We are centrally located within Hervey Bay making our school a great choice for parents working in and around the city centre.
We have before and after school care facilities which also supports family needs. We look forward to enrolment enquiries from any families within Hervey Bay.
