The Prospect

The Industrique is one of Melbourne’s premier live music and multi-purpose event spaces, with six years of established history and events operating every weekend. We host live music, corporate functions, private parties, weddings, and creative productions.

We are seeking a sharp, target-driven sales professional for a flexible, commission-based side hustle. Your role is to convert inbound venue inquiries into bookings, with a focus on secure corporate weekday and Friday night bookings.

Speed drives our sales: 70% of inquiries convert when replied to immediately, and 90% of prospects who take a venue tour proceed to book. Full backend automation and AI drafts handle the admin so you can focus entirely on sales.

Essential Requirements

- Minimum 3 years of successful, target-driven sales experience.
- Live within 15–20 minutes of Coburg North for venue walkthroughs.
- Monitor the inbox 4 times daily during business hours to send AI drafts.
- Confident telephone communication and consistent pipeline follow-through.
- Familiar with Facebook Ads Manager.

Time Commitment

- Routine admin is only 3 hours per week due to automated workflows.
- Venue walkthroughs can be batched and locked into two specific days of your choice each week.




- Once the payment clears, commission is paid, the client is immediately handed over to venue operations.

Commission Structure

- Uncapped earnings. Commission is paid once the client's payment clears.
- Commission is calculated strictly as a percentage of the venue hire fee (excluding GST).
- Baseline rate is 10% for inbound conversions, scaling to 15% for self-generated outbound corporate sales.

Commission Breakdown Per Booking:

- Corporate weekday (Hire Fee: $3,500) - 10% Commission: $350 | 15% Commission: $525
- Stage Setup (Hire Fee: $1,500) - 10% Commission: $150 | 15% Commission: $225
- Boiler Room Setup (Hire Fee: $2,000) - 10% Commission: $200 | 15% Commission: $300
- Side Room / Courtyard Setup (Hire Fee: $1,000) 10% Commission: $100 | 15% Commission: $150
