This is an excellent opportunity for customer-focused professionals looking to join a busy contact centre environment where you will be supported with comprehensive training and ongoing guidance.

The important parts

- Position: Call Centre Operator
- Location: Parramatta, NSW
- Pay Rate: $37.50 per hour + Super
- Contract: 23 October 2026 to 22 April 2027
- Hours: 35 hours per week, 7 hours per day
- Roster: Rotating roster between 7:00am and 7:00pm, Monday to Friday
- Work Arrangement: 100% onsite
- Comprehensive initial training provided
- Police Check required
- In-person interview required in Parramatta

Please note: Due to operational requirements, candidates must be available across the full rotating roster and leave will not be available during the Christmas and New Year period.

What you will be required to do

Working within a high-volume contact centre environment, you will:

- Provide professional and helpful customer service across a range of enquiries
- Handle inbound customer interactions while maintaining a high standard of service
- Accurately navigate internal systems and record customer information
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers
- Manage emails and written correspondence with strong attention to detail
- Follow established processes, procedures and service standards




- Quickly learn and confidently use new systems and software
- Work collaboratively with your team and Subject Matter Experts
- Participate in comprehensive classroom training and supported on-the-job learning
- Transition to independently managing customer enquiries following successful training and assessment

To be successful in the role you will

- Have 2 to 3 years' customer service experience, ideally across call centre, administration, retail or a similar customer-facing environment
- Have previous experience working within an office workplace
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Be confident speaking with a wide variety of customers
- Have robust email etiquette and professional written communication skills
- Have intermediate computer skills and be comfortable working across multiple systems
- Be proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Teams
- Be technically savvy and able to learn new systems quickly
- Be reliable and committed to attending the full training program
- Be available to work across the rotating roster between 7:00am and 7:00pm Monday to Friday
- Be comfortable working 100% onsite in Parramatta




- Be willing and able to complete a Police Check

Previous public sector experience will be highly regarded but is not essential.

Training & roster

Successful candidates will complete two weeks of full-time, classroom-style training, followed by a supported nesting period where you will work closely with experienced Subject Matter Experts before being assessed to work independently.

Full attendance throughout the training program is required.

Following training, you will work across a two-week rotating roster, with shifts scheduled between 7:00am and 7:00pm Monday to Friday. Rosters may include early, mid and later starting times.
