MV Solar is looking for a Sales Representative to join our team at our Rutherford showroom. We can teach you the technical side of solar, batteries and off-grid systems through comprehensive in-house training. What is most important to us is finding someone who is willing to learn, takes ownership of their work and genuinely enjoys helping customers.

About the role

You will guide customers through the complete sales process, from their initial enquiry through to an accepted proposal.

This role includes responding to incoming enquiries, following up sales opportunities and building strong customer relationships. We also want someone who is willing to look for new opportunities, build their own network and contribute ideas to help grow the business.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Responding to new sales enquiries
- Taking ownership of customers throughout the sales process
- Meeting with customers over the phone, online, onsite and in our showroom
- Understanding customers’ energy needs and recommending suitable solutions
- Preparing and presenting solar and battery proposals
- Consistently following up quotes and opportunities
- Actively sourcing new sales opportunities
- Developing creative ideas and strategies to generate new leads
- Building relationships with customers, businesses and referral partners




- Maintaining accurate customer and sales records in HubSpot
- Working closely with our engineering, administration and installation teams
- Working towards individual and company sales targets

About you

Some previous experience in sales or a customer-focused role would be beneficial, but we are not looking for someone who already knows everything.

We are looking for someone who:

- Is confident speaking with people and building genuine relationships
- Has a natural interest in sales and helping customers
- Is motivated, proactive and willing to learn
- Takes ownership of their work and follows through on commitments
- Is organised and consistent when following up opportunities
- Enjoys working toward goals and achieving results
- Is comfortable learning technical products and explaining them clearly
- Is willing to generate current business as well as manage incoming enquiries
- Can work independently while contributing to a supportive team
- Is comfortable using computers and learning new systems
- Holds a current Australian driver’s licence

Previous experience in solar, batteries or electrical products is not required. We are happy to train the right person and teach them our products, systems and sales process.
