What you'll be doing
- Perform high-quality welding on a variety of metal components and structures
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accurate and compliant welding
- Operate welding equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all relevant safety protocols
- Collaborate with the production team to identify and resolve any welding-related issues
- Maintain detailed records of all welding activities and inspections
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of welding processes and techniques
What we're looking for
- First Class welding qualification or equivalent, with extensive experience in the Welding & Boilermaking industry
- Experience in fitting and welding stainless steel and carbon steel pipes, specifically in the DN25–DN600 range
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and welding specifications
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve welding challenges
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team-oriented team
- Knowledge of relevant safety standards and the ability to consistently apply safe work practices

Preferred Qualifications:
- AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3)
