Monty’s is a European-inspired restaurant and bar in the heart of Orange. Good food, good drinks, good people and seriously good hospitality, without taking ourselves too seriously.

We’re looking for a casual Chef to join our kitchen team.

The Role

You’ll be part of a busy kitchen team, working across prep and service and helping us deliver great food consistently.

You’ll be responsible for:

- Preparing and cooking food to Monty’s standards
- Working across sections during service
- Keeping your section clean, organised and ready to go
- Following recipes, prep lists and kitchen systems
- Working well with the rest of the kitchen and front of house teams
- Helping keep food quality, presentation and consistency high
- Taking pride in the food you send out

About You

You know your way around a kitchen and you're comfortable working in a busy service.

We’re looking for someone who:

- Has previous commercial kitchen experience




- Can work confidently across prep and service
- Works well under pressure without losing their head
- Is reliable, organised and takes pride in their work
- Has good attention to detail
- Is a team player and happy to muck in
- Cares about good food and good hospitality
- Has high standards without taking themselves too seriously
