- Providing accounting advisory and financial reporting updates to clients, including the impact and implementation of new standards.
- Collaborating with TAG, Valuations and Tax teams to resolve technical accounting and transaction-related matters, including SPA, completion accounts and dividend traps.
- Assist with regulatory filings for IPO’s, spin-offs, carve-outs, debt offerings and other acquisition filings for both domestic and cross-border transactions.
- Support conversion services to clients requiring a change in their financial reporting to IFRS or US GAAP.
- Post acquisition support such as opening balance sheet and business combination / asset acquisition memos, working closely with finance functions.
- Exposure and support for presentations to C-suite stakeholders.
Qualifications
You’ll bring a positive mindset and enjoy being part of a growing team and organisation where you can add value to our culture. You’ll be CA qualified (or equivalent) and bring:
- Proven technical expertise with accounting advisory experience within the Big 4, or an Audit background with significant exposure to transactions and technical accounting with the appetite to upskill in this area.
- Strong understanding and knowledge of accounting standards and the application of IFRS (US GAAP also desirable)
- A genuine interest in transactions, deals and complex accounting matters, with a willingness to learn.
- Commercially minded, adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment.
