We're Hiring: Clinical Nurse (Community Services)

Are you a passionate Clinical Nurse looking to make a meaningful difference in people's lives?

Creative Respite and Community Services (CRCS) is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse with a minimum of 3 years' nursing experience to deliver high-quality nursing care and clinical leadership across the NDIS, DVA, Aged Care, and Child Safe sectors.

This rewarding community-based role offers the opportunity to work directly with individuals and families in their homes and community settings, helping them achieve greater independence, wellbeing, and quality of life.

What You'll Be Doing

Delivering nursing assessments, care planning, and clinical interventions in community, home, and respite settings

Developing, implementing, and reviewing person-centred care plans

Supporting participants with complex care needs

Administering medications and monitoring treatment outcomes

Providing education, support, and guidance to individuals, families, support workers, and nursing staff

Supervising, mentoring, and providing clinical guidance to Registered Nurses (RNs), Enrolled Nurses (ENs), support workers, and junior nursing staff

Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality outcomes

Supporting community participation, independence, and wellbeing

Maintaining accurate clinical records, reports, and documentation

About You

You need to have:

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 3 years' nursing experience




- Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent qualification)
- Experience in disability services, aged care, community nursing, mental health, or complex care environments
- Solid clinical assessment and care planning skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Current Queensland Open Driver's Licence
- National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Australian working rights

Experience working with complex care needs

Experience supervising, mentoring, or supporting nursing graduates, students, support workers, or junior clinical staff

Additional qualifications or training in aged care, community nursing, mental health, infection control, disability services, or related specialties
