We're looking for an experienced casual to join our crew — and we're specifically looking for someone who actually loves this industry.
This isn't an ad for someone who just wants a few hours and a pay cheque.
We want the person who follows lawn guys on Instagram, notices a bloody good lawn when they drive past one, loves a clean edge and gets satisfaction from standing back after a job and seeing how valuable the property looks.
If you've ever finished mowing a lawn, taken your phone out and grabbed a photo because the stripes looked mint you're probably our sort of person.
THE WORK
You'll assist our team across commercial, strata, acreage and premium residential properties throughout the Illawarra.
You'll be doing:
- Mowing
- Whipper snipping and edging
- Ride-on mowing
- Hedging
- Garden maintenance
- Weed control
- General horticultural work
- Lawn care and renovations
WE WANT SOMEONE WHO
Has previous lawn, garden, horticulture or landscaping experience and can confidently get on the tools.
You need to be:
- Reliable
- Punctual
- Hard-working
- Physically capable
- Proud of your workmanship
- Good with machinery
- Able to follow instructions
- Able to work without being babysat
- Keen to learn
- Someone who genuinely gives a shit about the finished result
We're building a crew of people who want to be good at what they do.
If you're looking for somewhere you can continually turn up late, regularly cancel shifts, spend half the day on your phone or put in minimum effort for maximum pay — save yourself and us the time.
But if you froth lawn care, work hard and want to be part of a crew producing bloody good work, we'd love to hear from you.
There may also be an opportunity for the right casual employee to move into regular hours or a full-time position as the role develops.
To apply: Tell us about yourself, your previous experience and why you're interested in lawn care/horticulture.
And if you've got photos or videos of work you're proud of — send them through.
