About the role
We are always interested in hearing from talented Legal Secretaries and Junior Legal Secretaries who would like to join our Sydney office. With the sustained growth of our firm, opportunities regularly arise across a range of practice areas including Workers Compensation, Professional Indemnity, Public Liability, CTP, Medical Negligence and other Insurance teams, as well as our broader practice groups.
As a Legal Secretary or Junior Legal Secretary, you will play an important role in supporting our lawyers and contributing to the efficient operation of the practice. Depending on the team and level of the role, your responsibilities may include:
- Preparing, formatting and amending legal documents and correspondence
- Managing diaries, appointments and meetings
- Coordinating file opening, maintenance and closing processes
- Liaising with clients, counsel, experts and other stakeholders
- Managing court and key matter deadlines
- Assisting with billing, expense processing and general practice administration
- Filing documents through relevant court and tribunal portals
Providing general administrative support to lawyers and legal teams
Our Legal Secretary positions offer experienced legal support professionals the opportunity to work closely with leading practitioners on high-quality matters, while our Junior Legal Secretary opportunities provide an excellent pathway into the legal sector for candidates looking to build a long-term career in legal support.

About you
We welcome expressions of interest from both experienced Legal Secretaries and aspiring Junior Legal Secretaries.
To be considered for Legal Secretary opportunities, you will need:
- Previous experience working in a Legal Secretary, Legal Assistant or similar legal support role
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work to deadlines
- A professional and client-focused approach
Strong verbal and written communication skills

For Junior Legal Secretary opportunities, you would ideally have:
- Administrative or office support experience
- A genuine interest in developing a career within the legal sector
- Solid organisational skills and great attention to detail
- A willingness to learn and a proactive approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Confidence using Microsoft Office and learning new systems
