Catering Assistant

- Located in Eden NSW.
- Permanent Part-time position (21 hours per week).
- Award rate role + Super and NFP Salary Packaging.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced catering assistant to join our team at Uniting Eden.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Provide catering services to residents in a timely manner
- Communicate with residents about their dietary needs

- Collaborate with care staff to support residents’ individual dietary needs, including texture-modified meals and special diets.
- Maintain best practices in health, hygiene, sustainability, and safety within the kitchen and service

What you’ll bring

- Hands-on experience in hospitality or food services – whether in catering, cooking or kitchenhand roles
- Certificate III in Hospitality or an equivalent qualification (highly desirable)
- Food Safety Certificate (Highly Desirable)
- Knowledge of safe food handling practices and a passion for preparing quality, nutritious meals.
- Previous experience in aged care or hospital settings is a bonus.
- You’re empathetic, adaptable, and resourceful, with a commitment to delivering excellent service.
