TAS Technical Aide

Permanent Part-Time 0.2FTE | Commencing Term 1,



2027 | Term-time only

Arndell Anglican College is seeking a practical and experienced TAS Technical Aide to join our Technological and Applied Studies (TAS) Department from January 2027 on a part-time basis, working one day per week during term time. The role provides technical and practical support to TAS teaching staff and students across our workshops, Design Studio and practical learning environments. The successful applicant will have a sound working knowledge of TAS equipment, materials and safe workshop practices, including hand and power tools, machinery, timber and metal preparation and associated materials. Responsibilities will include preparing resources and equipment for practical lessons, assisting staff and students with the safe and correct use of machinery and tools, undertaking routine equipment maintenance, maintaining clean and organised workshops and studios, and supporting the smooth delivery of practical learning programs. On-the-job training will be provided and the role may suit a retired tradesperson, experienced tradesperson, ex-TAS teacher or someone with relevant workshop experience looking to contribute to a vibrant school environment.

The TAS Technical Aide will also oversee the department’s equipment, resources and consumables, including maintaining inventory and asset records, monitoring stock levels, ordering materials, coordinating routine servicing and maintenance, liaising with external technicians and suppliers, and ensuring equipment, tools and materials are stored, maintained and operated in accordance with Work Health and Safety requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with practical technical expertise to share their knowledge and experience while supporting students in a hands-on learning environment.

Junior School Chaplain

Full-Time (1.0 FTE) or Part time (0.6 FTE) Teaching Position | Commencing Term 1, 2027

We are seeking a passionate and committed Junior School Chaplain who will play a significant role in the spiritual, pastoral and educational life of the College.

This is a teaching position with dedicated chaplaincy responsibilities. Working closely with the College Chaplain, Junior School Leadership Team and teaching staff, you will help students develop intellectually, spiritually, emotionally and socially while sharing the Christian narrative in authentic and engaging ways.

The successful applicant will lead Junior School Chapel programs, Junior School Christian Education lessons, programming,



initiatives and opportunities for faith formation, while teaching assigned classes and contributing to the broader life of the College.

The Junior School Chaplain role is available as either a full time (1.0 FTE) or part time (0.6 FTE) position.

Music Teacher

Permanent Full-Time or 0.8FTE | Commencing Term 1, 2027

Arndell Anglican College is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Music Teacher to join our vibrant Performing Arts team from Term 1, 2027. This is a permanent role for an outstanding educator who is committed to excellence in teaching, values Christian education, and is passionate about developing young musicians from primary through to lower secondary years.

Reporting to the Head of Department - Performing Arts, the successful applicant will teach Music across Stage 2 to Stage 4, lead the development of Junior Creative Arts curriculum, support running and conducting the Junior School Instrumental Program and Strong Programs, contribute to other ensembles and performances, and play an active role in the wider life of the College. The role is available either part time 0.8 FTE or full time.

Teacher Intern Program

The Intern Program is a school-based training program designed to build skills in a broad range of day-to-day school experiences, not ordinarily covered as part of university study or practicum experiences. Alongside university study and as part of the staff team in one of the Anglican Schools Corporation schools, Interns are supported by a dedicated mentor and are engaged in rich learning opportunities in preparation for their first teaching role. The position suits self-motivated people who want to broaden their experience in a school setting alongside their tertiary study.
