ZOI Education is seeking an experienced Electrotechnology Trainer and Assessor to deliver engaging classroom and practical workshop training for:
- UEE22025 – Certificate II in Electrotechnology (Career Start)
- UEE30820 – Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician
We are looking for a qualified electrical professional who can train and assess across both qualifications and enjoys helping students develop practical skills, technical knowledge and safe work practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver face-to-face theory lessons and practical workshop sessions.
- Plan lessons and practical activities aligned with the Training and Assessment Strategy and relevant unit requirements.
- Conduct assessments, make competency judgements and provide clear, constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate attendance, assessment and student progress records, and complete marking within required timeframes.
- Ensure safe use of electrical equipment, tools and workshop facilities.
- Support students with different learning needs and cultural backgrounds.
- Participate in assessment validation, resource reviews and continuous improvement.
- Maintain current industry skills and undertake relevant professional development.
- Work collaboratively with the academic and administration teams.
Essential Requirements
- UEE30820 Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician, a relevant predecessor qualification, or equivalent vocational competency.
- Demonstrated vocational competencies and current industry skills relevant to the units delivered and assessed across both qualifications.
- A current unrestricted electrician’s licence valid in the state of delivery.
- TAE40122, TAE40116 or TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or another credential accepted for independent training and assessment under the current ASQA Credential Policy.
- Relevant electrical industry experience and strong knowledge of electrical safety, installation, testing and fault finding.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and supervise practical training safely.
- Strong communication, organisation and recordkeeping skills.
- Australian work rights.
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience delivering and assessing UEE qualifications within an RTO.
- Experience supporting international students and culturally diverse learners.
- Experience reviewing learning resources, assessment tools and trainer competency matrices.
- Familiarity with learning management and student management systems.
- Experience contributing to workshop setup and practical training activities.

Pay: $100.00 – $150.00 per hour
