Phoenix Source & Select is seeking an experienced Boilermaker/Fabricator to join an established Australian manufacturing business based in Kemps Creek.

This is a hands-on workshop role working across the fabrication of ducting, pipe, tubing and associated components used across industrial, commercial and infrastructure applications. The workshop produces everything from standard bends, elbows and tees through to specialised components manufactured from customer drawings.

This is a long-term opportunity offering $50 per hour casual, with a pathway to permanent employment following an initial 12-month Temp to Perm period.

The Role

Your duties will include:

- Reading and interpreting engineering and fabrication drawings
- Fabricating components from light and heavy gauge material
- MIG and general welding duties
- Working with mild steel, stainless steel and other materials
- Measuring, marking out, cutting and preparing materials
- Fabricating components to drawings and specifications
- Completing workshop-based repairs and modifications
- Problem solving and fault finding
- Performing quality checks on completed work
- Using hand, power and workshop fabrication equipment
- Supporting general manufacturing and maintenance requirements
- Maintaining a safe and organised workshop

About You

To be successful, you will have:

- Previous Boilermaker,



Fabricator or Sheetmetal Worker experience
- Strong fabrication and welding skills
- Ability to confidently read and interpret drawings
- Experience working with both light and heavier gauge materials
- Previous workshop/manufacturing experience
- Good mechanical and maintenance aptitude
- Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong commitment to quality and workplace safety
