Maintenance Electrician | Day Shift | Long-Term Opportunity
Join a growing Australian manufacturer as a Maintenance Electrician and play a key role in keeping a busy production facility running safely and efficiently.
Due to continued growth and increased workload, our client is looking for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join their established maintenance team on day shift.
This is a fantastic long-term opportunity for an electrician who enjoys a hands-on manufacturing environment, troubleshooting complex equipment and keeping production moving. You’ll work across a range of automated machinery, production equipment and electrical systems within a well-resourced facility.

The Role
Working as part of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for keeping critical production equipment operating safely and efficiently. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Performing preventative and reactive electrical maintenance across the site
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults to minimise production downtime
- Troubleshooting PLC-controlled machinery and automated systems
- Responding quickly and effectively to production breakdowns
- Inspecting, testing and maintaining plant and equipment
- Identifying opportunities to improve equipment reliability and performance
- Supporting continuous improvement and maintenance projects
- Ensuring all electrical work is completed safely and in line with relevant standards and procedures
What we're looking for
We’re looking for a hands-on Maintenance Electrician who can confidently troubleshoot and keep production equipment running.
You will have:
- Current Australian Electrical Licence
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Electrician
- Experience within a manufacturing, production or industrial environment
- Strong electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with PLC-controlled equipment and automation
- Proven ability to respond effectively to production breakdowns
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- The ability to work independently while contributing to a wider maintenance team
