About the role
In this role, you will support the day-to-day coordination of the Learn to Swim program, assisting teachers, organising class allocations and ensuring a safe, positive experience for children and families participating in aquatic education.

Classification: Band 4 Commencing at $48.08 p/h (including casual loading) plus super

Key responsibilities include:

- Support the Learn to Swim Coordinator in delivering a high-quality, safe and engaging Learn to Swim program.
- Provide guidance and support to Learn to Swim teachers to ensure consistent program delivery and positive participant experiences.
- Allocate and program children into appropriate classes and instructors based on skill level and program requirements.
- Assist with the rostering and coordination of Learn to Swim staff to ensure effective program coverage.
- Monitor and support teacher performance in collaboration with the Learn to Swim Coordinator.
- Assist with administrative and operational tasks including squad groups, pool bookings and other program activities.

About you
To be successful in this role, you will have a robust understanding of Learn to Swim programs and a passion for delivering secure, engaging aquatic education. You will bring excellent communication and customer service skills, the ability to support and guide teaching staff, and the flexibility to work across a range of shifts.

Essential Experience:





- Swim Teaching Certificate (relevant swim teacher extension qualifications desired)
- Provide First Aid including CPR.
- Working with Children Check.
- Preferred candidates will be required to undergo a National Police Check and a pre-employment medical assessment as part of the recruitment process (funded by the City).
