Casual Residential Cleaner – 15–25+ Hours Per Week

The Great Cleansed Space is growing, and we’re looking for reliable, caring and hardworking cleaners to join our team.

We provide residential cleaning services throughout Rockhampton and surrounding suburbs, supporting a wide range of clients including busy families, parents, NDIS and DVA participants, and people who simply need an extra set of hands at home.

We’re looking for people who take genuine pride in their work and understand that providing a great cleaning service is about more than simply completing a checklist. Our clients trust us in their homes, and we take that responsibility seriously.

About the Position

- Casual employment
- Approximately 15–25 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours
- $33.85 per hour + superannuation
- Majority of work is available Monday–Friday between approximately 9:00am and 2:30pm, making the position well suited to those seeking school-hour work
- Additional work outside these hours may also be available for team members seeking broader availability or additional hours
- Residential cleaning throughout Rockhampton and surrounding suburbs
- Work is primarily completed independently, with support from our wider team

What We’re Looking For

Previous cleaning experience is highly regarded; however, reliability, attitude and attention to detail are equally important to us.

We’re looking for someone who:

- Is reliable, punctual and takes responsibility for their work
- Has solid attention to detail and takes pride in providing a high standard of service
- Is kind, respectful and non-judgmental when working within clients’ homes
- Is comfortable working independently and managing their time effectively
- Communicates well with both clients and our management team




- Shows initiative and can confidently problem-solve when required
- Respects client privacy and confidentiality
- Is comfortable working in everyday family homes, including homes with children and pets
- Works well as part of a supportive and down-to-earth team

Requirements

Applicants must:

- Hold a current driver’s licence
- Have access to a reliable vehicle
- Be willing and able to travel between clients throughout the Rockhampton region
- Be physically capable of performing residential cleaning duties
- Have reliable availability for their agreed working days and hours
