Wise West Connect is seeking reliable, compassionate, and experienced Casual Support Workers to join our growing Disability and Aged Care operations across Melbourne and surrounding suburbs.

About the Role

As a Casual Support Worker, you will provide support in homes and community settings. Depending on individual support requirements, your duties may include:

- Personal care and assistance with daily living activities
- Transport to medical appointments, shopping, and other activities
- Community access and social participation
- Meal preparation and nutrition support
- Social support and companionship
- Respite support for families and carers
- Medication management in accordance with care plans and procedures
- Mobility assistance, transfers, positioning, and pressure care
- Manual handling
- Domestic assistance and light household duties
- Accurate progress notes and documentation
- Incident identification and reporting
- Following individual support plans and organisational procedures
- Supporting independence, dignity, choice, and wellbeing

Essential Requirements

Applicants should have:

- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care, Community Services, or equivalent
- Experience in Disability Support and/or Aged Care
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current National Police Check
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate




- Current Working with Children Check, where required
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Reliable vehicle with appropriate car insurance
- Right to work in Australia
- Infection Control training
- Medication management knowledge and/or training
- Manual Handling training and experience
