About the Role

As the Administration Officer – Compliance & Transport, you will provide administrative support to our Compliance and Operations teams, helping ensure our transport activities remain compliant with industry standards, accreditation requirements, and company procedures.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with systems, documentation, reporting, and people. You'll gain exposure to transport compliance, driver management, safety systems, training records, audits, and heavy vehicle accreditation processes while being supported by experienced industry professionals.

You will work closely with drivers, supervisors, fleet personnel, operational managers, and external stakeholders to help maintain the high standards that Sands Fridge Lines is known for.

Key Responsibilities





Reporting to the Compliance and Operations Team, your responsibilities will include:

- Maintaining accurate compliance records, databases, and documentation.
- Assisting with Heavy Vehicle Accreditation (HVA) requirements and record management.
- Monitoring driver licences, inductions, medicals, training records, and other compliance-related documentation.
- Supporting fatigue management compliance processes.
- Assisting with internal audits and preparing documentation for external audits.
- Reviewing and updating policies, procedures, forms, and standard operating procedures.
- Preparing regular compliance and operational reports.
- Recording, tracking, and assisting with incident investigations and corrective actions.
- Supporting driver onboarding, inductions, and compliance training activities.
- Liaising with drivers and operational staff regarding compliance requirements.
- Providing administrative assistance across compliance, safety, and transport operations.
- Assisting with continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen safety and compliance outcomes.
- Ensuring company records are maintained in accordance with legislative and business requirements.

Desirable but Not Essential

- Previous administration experience.
- Experience within transport, logistics, warehousing, or distribution.
- Knowledge of Heavy Vehicle Accreditation (HVA) requirements.
- Understanding of Fatigue Management and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) principles.
- Exposure to workplace safety, quality systems, or compliance frameworks.
- Qualifications in Business Administration, Transport & Logistics, Workplace Health & Safety, Compliance, or a related field.

Full training will be provided to the successful candidate.
