Thornbury Apothecary is looking for an experienced and professional Remedial Massage Therapist to join our team on an independent subcontractor basis.

About the Role
As a Remedial Massage Therapist at Thornbury Apothecary, you will provide professional, individualised massage treatments to clients presenting with a range of needs.
Treatments may include:
- Remedial massage
- Therapeutic massage
- Relaxation massage
- Myofascial and soft-tissue techniques
- Pre-Natal and Post Natal massage
- Treatment for muscular tension and discomfort
- Individualised treatment and client education
You will be responsible for conducting appropriate client consultations and assessments, developing suitable treatment approaches,
maintaining professional client records and working within your qualifications and scope of practice.
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma of Remedial Massage or equivalent recognised qualification
- Current qualified membership with an appropriate massage/myotherapy professional association
- Current Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance
- Current First Aid certificate
- Current ABN
- Appropriate professional and business registrations
- Strong understanding of professional boundaries, hygiene and infection-control practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

The Subcontractor Arrangement
This is an independent subcontractor opportunity. You will operate your own business and be responsible for your own business, taxation, super, liability insurance and professional obligations (CPD points).
The arrangement provides the opportunity to establish and grow your own client base while working from the Thornbury Apothecary premises.
Rate: From $100 per hour
Hours and days can be discussed with the successful applicant.
