We are currently seeking an experienced Engineering Trade Assistant to join an engineering and fabrication team in Revesby, NSW. This opportunity is suited to a reliable and hands-on worker with experience assisting tradespeople in a workshop, fabrication, engineering, or industrial environment.

The successful applicant will support skilled tradespeople with fabrication, material preparation, workshop duties, equipment handling, and general engineering tasks while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality.

Requirements

- Previous experience as an Engineering Trade Assistant, Trade Assistant, Workshop Assistant, or similar
- Experience in an engineering, fabrication, manufacturing, or industrial environment is preferred
- Familiarity with basic hand and power tools
- Ability to assist with material preparation, handling, and workshop activities
- Valid White Card is highly regarded
- Physically fit and comfortable performing manual work
- Positive communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety procedures
- Reliable transport to Revesby
- Available to start ASAP

Duties Include

- Assisting engineers, boilermakers, welders, and other tradespeople
- Preparing and moving steel, metal, and other engineering materials
- Using hand and power tools under appropriate supervision
- Assisting with cutting, grinding,



drilling, and basic fabrication tasks
- Loading and unloading materials and equipment
- Preparing tools, equipment, and work areas
- Supporting workshop and production activities
- Maintaining clean and organised work areas
- Assisting with general maintenance and site duties
- Following WHS procedures and workshop safety requirements
- Completing additional tasks as directed by supervisors
