At Sandgate Wreckers, we keep the automotive industry moving by providing high-quality recycled auto parts. We’re looking for a sharp, dependable Freight Logistics & Delivery Specialist to take full ownership of our outgoing shipments and ensure our customers get their parts on time, every time.

What You’ll Do

- Freight Ownership: Manage, schedule, and optimize all incoming and outgoing freight, working directly with transport companies and couriers.
- Delivery Assistance: Help prepare, pack, and physically deliver auto parts to local workshops, businesses, and transport hubs as needed.
- Accuracy & Inventory: Verify every part number, shipping label, and order detail against invoices to ensure 100% dispatch accuracy.
- Safe Handling: Properly secure, wrap, and load auto parts—ranging from small electrical components to large engines and body panels—preventing damage in transit.
- Customer Interface: Represent our business professionally during local drop-offs and when interacting with freight drivers.

- A1 Attention to Detail: You double-check part numbers, addresses, and documentation. You catch small errors before they become big headaches.
- Reliability: You show up on time, communicate clearly, and follow through on commitments.
- Competence & Efficiency: You know how to manage a busy dispatch area, prioritize urgent shipments, and solve logistics hiccups on the fly.
- Physical Fitness & Drive: Ability to handle heavy auto parts, operate dispatch equipment (like forklifts or pallet jacks), and drive delivery vehicles.
- License & Credentials: Valid driver’s license required (Forklift license is a strong plus).
