About the Role

Pro AV Solutions has an exciting opportunity available in our VIC branch to join our Service Team as an Embedded Onsite Lead AV Technician. This is a hands-on role responsible for leading the onsite delivery and installation of assigned Audio-Visual projects while supporting and guiding our site team to achieve high-quality project outcomes.

Working across a variety of project sites, you will take an active role in AV installation while helping coordinate onsite activities, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with project documentation and industry best practice. Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and support the onsite delivery and installation of Audio-Visual projects
- Install AV equipment including displays, projectors, speakers, cameras and associated hardware
- Complete cable rough-ins, cable termination and mechanical fit-offs
- Read and interpret low-level designs, cable schedules, AV wiring diagrams and project documentation
- Undertake practical fault finding and troubleshooting where required




- Coordinate onsite activities and provide guidance and support to technicians and other site team members
- Liaise with Project Managers, other trades and stakeholders to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to Pro AV standards

Key Experience & Capabilities:

- 4+ years’ experience in Audio Visual installation, construction or a similar technical environment
- Demonstrated experience delivering AV installations across construction and project sites
- Experience leading, supervising or providing technical guidance to onsite teams
- Strong practical knowledge of AV equipment, cabling, termination and installation practices
- Ability to read and interpret AV drawings, wiring diagrams, cable schedules and technical documentation
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Relevant trade qualification in Electrical, Communications or a related discipline is highly regarded
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a proactive approach, robust work ethic and commitment to quality
