We are seeking a full time Director who can assist with managing a lovely, social, kind, respectable team, engage and build strong relationships with families, and ensure smooth running of the service.

Tarella House ELC is a homely 62 place Centre with multiple rooms, where small group play, loose parts, and project based learning, ensures quality care and education.

This would be a perfect opportunity for someone who is ready to take the next step, lead a larger service,or gain experience after an Assistant Director position.

Responsibilities:

- Have a genuine interest in promoting children's learning and well-being
- Work to create positive and stimulating environments to support children
- Observe and evaluate children's development and learning
- Create and implement programming and planning for children
- Liaise with children, families and educators in a positive and friendly manner
- Knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
- Grow occupancy
- Lead tours of the service
- Sustain the relationships created in the community, and continue growing the connections
- Regularly develop and update the QIP
- Hold regular monthly staff meetings
- Draw up rosters
- Work with program such as OWNA and Qikkids
- (Knowledge preferred, however, not necessary. Training can be provided)

What we need from you:

- Diploma in Early Childhood or ECT qualification
- Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Framework (NQF).
- Individuals will need to be passionate, enthusiastic, and committed to high-quality Early Childhood Education.
- A current Working with Children’s Check (WWC).
- Able to work well in a team environment.
- Creativity to bring new ideas to the table
- Up to date Child Protection training
- Geccko Child Safety certificates completed (Module 1, 2, 3, & 4)
