iStaff is currently looking for reliable and motivated HR Vacuum Truck Operators to join the team.
The Role
This is a hands-on operational role working as part of a drainage and industrial services crew. You will be involved in a variety of field-based projects and services, including vacuum loading, drain cleaning, confined space and working at heights.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Driving and operating HR vacuum tanker trucks
- Operating vacuum loading and associated equipment
- Assisting with Drain cleaning
- Completing daily vehicle and equipment checks
- Setting up and packing down job sites
- Handling hoses and associated equipment
- Willingness to work in confined space and working at heights
- Assisting with the cleaning and maintenance of trucks and equipment
- Working collaboratively with operators, offsiders and supervisors
- Providing a professional service while working on client sites
What We're Looking For
We're looking for people who have the right attitude,
strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
To be considered, you will ideally have:
- Current HR Driver Licence
- White Card
- Confined Space ticket - or willingness to obtain
- Working at Heights ticket - or willingness to obtain
- Ability to complete a TruckSafe Medical and Drug & Alcohol screen
- Own reliable transport to get to the depot
- Ability to work physically demanding shifts
- Flexibility around start and finish times
- Willingness to work overtime and additional days when required
- A strong commitment to safety and teamwork
