As we expand our team in Australia, we are looking for an Accountant to support our growing local operations.

In this role, you will prepare financial reports and statements, perform bank reconciliations, support month-end and year-end closing, and assist with audits. We are looking for someone with robust attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills and sound business acumen, who enjoys working in a dynamic, growing team.

Responsibilities

Accounts Payable & Receivable

- Process the end-to-end AP and AR cycle, including invoice verification, data entry and payment processing, to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage daily cash receipts and payments, prepare daily cash reports, and maintain effective controls over company funds.

General Ledger & Month-End Close
- Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger.
- Perform bank reconciliations to maintain accurate, up-to-date cash balances.
- Review and post operating expenses,



including advertising, transportation and other routine costs.
- Support the month-end close, ensuring all accounting tasks are completed accurately and within strict deadlines.

Expenses & Procurement
- Reconcile transactions recorded in the EIT system, and process travel reimbursements and administrative procurement transactions.
- Review employee expense claims for compliance with company policy.

Dealer Programs & Assets
- Manage accounting for rebates and the brand fund for the Australian subsidiary.
- Maintain and manage the fixed asset register.
- Tax & Group Reporting
- Support tax compliance, including GST, BAS and FBT.
- Support the reporting and accounting requirements of the Group Finance team.
- Assist with other finance and accounting activities as required.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance
- Intermediate/Advance Excel skills
- Proficiency in accounting software will be an advantage
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail
- A positive 'can-do' attitude.
- Sound organizational and time management skills
- Approachability in dealing with internal and external parties
