Expression of Interest to Join the Nursing and Midwifery Resource Unit and provide essential administrative and rostering support that helps ensure safe staffing across Logan and Beaudesert Health Services on a Temporary Part-Time or Casual Basis.

About This Role

Your new role

As an Administration Officer within the Nursing and Midwifery Resource Unit, you'll provide essential administrative and workforce support to help maintain secure and effective nursing and midwifery staffing across Logan and Beaudesert Health Services. You'll work across multiple systems, coordinate roster changes and staffing information, and respond to changing operational priorities in a busy healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain nursing rosters, staffing allocations, leave requests and shift changes.
- Prepare accurate staffing and allocation information to support workforce planning.
- Develop and maintain Excel spreadsheets and accurate workforce records.
- Provide timely administrative support while working across multiple systems and priorities.

About You You're an organised and adaptable administrator who can manage competing priorities, work accurately with sensitive information and communicate confidently with a diverse range of stakeholders. You'll bring strong computer skills, attention to detail and a practical, solutions-focused approach. Skills & Experience

- Strong administrative, organisational and time-management skills.
- Intermediate computer skills, including Excel, databases and word processing.




- Excellent communication skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Experience in healthcare or a large organisation is desirable.

Logan Hospital Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.





We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.

Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
