About The Role

This position provides high-level administrative, operational and advisory support to the Department of General Medicine through the coordination of workforce administration, departmental systems, governance processes, reporting activities and service improvement initiatives, while supporting the efficient operation of General Medicine and associated sub-specialty services.

The successful applicant will have high-level communication skills to support the senior medical staff and operations of the department, ability to work to deadlines, prioritisation of tasks in a rapid-moving portfolio, experience in medical-related roles and roster management.

Ideal Candidate

- High level administrative skills gained within a complex organisation.
- Experience contributing to administrative systems, procedures or business process improvements.
- Strong organisational skills with the capacity to manage competing priorities, work independently and meet deadlines.
- High level written communication skills, including capability to contribute to preparation of reports, briefing materials and correspondence.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills,



with the capacity to work effectively with clinicians, managers and other stakeholders.
