We are seeking an experienced Lead / Senior Data Engineer for one of our federal government department client.
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior data engineering professional to work across modern Azure and Databricks data platforms, delivering large-scale data ingestion, transformation and analytics solutions in an Agile environment.
Key skills and experience:
- 5+ years’ experience as a Data Engineer
- Strong ETL/ELT development experience
- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory and/or Databricks
- Strong experience with Spark,
Parquet and/or Delta
- Experience across cloud data ingestion, storage, transformation and analytics
- Experience working with data lakes/lakehouses is highly desirable
- Strong communication, collaboration and leadership skills
Security clearance:
Candidates must hold a current NV1 security clearance, or be eligible and willing to obtain one. A Baseline clearance is required to commence.
