Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Boilermaker role based in Western Australia, Australia. The Boilermaker will carry out heavy steel fabrication, assembly, and repair work, including reading drawings, laying out components, cutting, forming, and positioning materials. Daily tasks include welding and fitting structural steel, pressure pipework, tanks, frames, and associated components to required specifications and standards.





The role involves operating workshop equipment such as presses, rollers, cutting machines, and overhead cranes, and performing quality checks to ensure alignment, tolerances, and weld integrity. The Boilermaker will follow safety procedures, maintain a clean work area, and collaborate with other team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines and quality targets.

Qualifications

- Robust metal fabrication skills, including structural steel fabrication and assembly.
- Proficient welding skills, with experience in Welding, TIG Welding, and Oxy-acetylene processes.
- Ability to interpret and apply technical drawings and specifications through accurate Blueprint Reading.
- Relevant trade qualification as a Boilermaker, Fabricator, or equivalent, with experience in heavy industrial or workshop environments.
- Knowledge of applicable Australian standards for welding and fabrication, and commitment to safe work practices.
- Ability to use fabrication tools and machinery, including presses, rollers, cutting equipment, and lifting devices.
- Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- White card and high-risk work licenses (e.g., forklift, overhead crane) are beneficial.
