Goodwin is seeking an experienced Business Manager to provide operational business and financial leadership across our Home Care division.

Reporting to the General Manager Home Care, you will oversee financial performance, claiming and revenue assurance, business administration, systems and contractor arrangements. You will lead the Home Care administration team and work closely with operational leaders and Corporate Services to turn financial and business insights into practical improvements.

About the role

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Financial management and reporting: Support budgets and forecasts, analyse revenue, expenditure, margins and service utilisation, and provide reports and dashboards that help managers understand performance and take action.
- Claiming and revenue assurance: Oversee claiming, billing,



client contributions, invoicing and reconciliations, ensuring accurate and timely processing and resolving rejected claims, unbilled services and other revenue risks.
- Business administration and systems: Lead the administration team, establish clear responsibilities and service standards, and strengthen business processes, data quality, records management and financial controls.
- Supplier and contractor management: Manage operational relationships, negotiate service scopes and rates, monitor performance and value for money, and coordinate onboarding, offboarding and contract reviews in partnership with corporate functions.
- Business planning and improvement: Contribute to business cases, pricing reviews, service modelling and new opportunities, while supporting reform implementation and improvements in efficiency and accountability.
- Leadership and collaboration: Coach and develop direct reports, work across care, operations, growth and corporate teams, and prepare clear recommendations for senior leaders and governance committees.

About you

You bring strong business and financial acumen, a practical approach to problem-solving and the ability to build effective relationships across operational and corporate teams.

You will demonstrate

- Experience in financial management, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and business performance analysis.
- Experience leading business administration, finance support or similar functions, with the ability to develop capability and establish clear expectations.




- Experience overseeing claiming, billing, reconciliations and revenue assurance processes.
- Experience managing supplier or contractor relationships, including negotiations, service levels and performance.
- Strong analytical and organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear, practical actions.
- High-level digital literacy, including experience using financial, client management, reporting and Microsoft Office systems.
- A commitment to customer service, ethical conduct, confidentiality and continuous improvement.

Experience in aged care, community care, disability, health or another regulated service environment will be highly regarded. Knowledge of Support at Home, the Commonwealth Home Support Programme, private service models and government claiming portals would also be beneficial. A current driver licence, the capacity to travel to Goodwin locations and the ability to obtain and maintain required aged care screening clearances are essential.
