About The Team/About The Role The Community Operations Administrator is responsible for providing organisational and operational support to the community fundraising team, for the effective delivery of community fundraising campaigns.
Please note this is a part time 0.8 FTE (4 days pw) role.

Key responsibilities of the role:
- Coordinate the delivery of community fundraising events and campaigns, ensuring a positive experience for supporters, volunteers, sponsors, and participants.
- Manage event administration, financial processes, databases, website updates, and reporting to ensure accurate and efficient operations.
- Build and maintain robust relationships with volunteers, donors, community groups, sponsors, and key fundraising supporters.
- Create and schedule engaging fundraising and social media content, supporting marketing activities that drive participation and income growth.
- Recruit, train, and support volunteers and event committees to help deliver successful community fundraising initiatives.
- Provide operational support across the fundraising team, including event planning, inventory management, stakeholder enquiries, and continuous improvement projects.
About you:
Essential:
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a passion for supporter engagement.
- Experience in event coordination, fundraising support, or a similar administrative role.
- Strong administrative and technology skills, including database management, data entry, website updates, and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, with strong problem-solving and continuous improvement capabilities.
- Experience working with volunteers and flexibility to travel, work occasional evenings/weekends, and hold a current Class C Driver's Licence.
Desirable:
- Knowledge and experience in a database management program
- Knowledge and experience of media, particularly social media, marketing and collateral development
