Chifeng Gold’s Lane Xang Minerals Limited Company (LXML) operates the Sepon Gold and Copper Operation, located in Vilabouly District, Savannakhet Province, Lao PDR. Reporting to the Superintendent – ROM/CAF Plant, the CAF Plant Specialist will provide hands-on technical and operational guidance to achieve planned production, quality and delivery targets at Sepon. This expatriate role will improve plant reliability, efficiency and cost performance while coaching Lao national employees and developing their capability to progressively take responsibility for plant operations.

Key Responsibilities Include:

- Overseeing daily CAF plant production to achieve planned output, product quality and delivery schedules
- Providing technical guidance on production planning, process control, equipment utilisation and workforce allocation
- Monitoring plant performance, identifying bottlenecks and troubleshooting process and equipment issues to minimise downtime
- Developing and maintaining practical operating procedures, work standards and production controls
- Working with Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, Warehouse and HSE teams to coordinate reliable and safe plant operations
- Tracking production KPIs,



leading daily production discussions and reporting performance, operating risks and improvement actions
- Implementing improvements to reduce production costs, waste and rework and optimise available resources
- Training and mentoring Lao supervisors, technicians and operators and developing national successors through practical coaching

Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

- A bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related discipline
- At least 10 years’ relevant experience in production, plant operations or a comparable industrial environment
- Proven production management experience, with solid practical knowledge of crusher and CAF plant operations
- Advanced troubleshooting skills and experience using production KPIs, root cause analysis and continuous improvement methods
- Demonstrated ability to manage production targets, quality, costs and workforce productivity in a hands-on role
- Strong mentoring and communication skills, with experience developing multicultural teams; international or expatriate experience is preferred
- Ability to work independently in a remote mining environment and use Microsoft Office for reporting and analysis
