About HaltH

Every day, people miss out on health funding they're entitled to, not because it isn't there, but because accessing it is so much harder than it should be.

Outdated terminals, manual steps, and disconnected systems create friction at the very moment care should feel supportive.

HaltH exists to change that.

We're building a new experience layer for health: one that connects directly to the world's health funding and makes payments, claiming, and coverage work together in a single, clear, intuitive flow.

Integrated seamlessly into the practice management software providers already use, HaltH combines modern payment technology with real-time health funding intelligence.

The result: people access the care and support available to them, and providers deliver smoother, more confident experiences.

We're beginning with Australia's allied health community, and building toward a future where being healthy is easier.

We're looking for a best-in-the-world social media manager

You're someone who believes the best content doesn't come from a desk - it comes from being in the room when something real happens.

You'd rather spend a morning in a physio clinic watching a provider change someone's day than sitting in an office drafting captions from stock imagery. You understand that the stories worth telling in health aren't polished - they're human, honest, and full of quiet moments that most people miss.

You're not just a content creator. You're a storyteller who knows how to move through real environments, read a room, capture what matters, and turn it into content that makes people stop scrolling.

The role

We're hiring a Social Media Manager to embed with the HaltH team in the field - joining real appointments, provider visits, and onboarding sessions to capture authentic, behind-the-scenes content that brings the HaltH story to life.

This role blends fieldwork with craft.

You will:

- Join the HaltH team on location at health provider clinics, capturing team-oriented content with real providers in real settings
- Film authentic moments - onboarding walkthroughs, provider interactions, product-in-action shots, and the energy of a team building something that matters
- Edit and repurpose raw footage into engaging short-form and long-form content across Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook
- Own the content calendar - scheduling, publishing, and optimising posts for reach, engagement, and community growth
- Build and nurture HaltH's online community, responding to comments, sparking conversations, and growing our audience of health providers and patients

And critically, you bring a genuine curiosity for, and interest in, the health and wellness space.

You understand that the providers we work with - physios, chiros, psychologists, osteos - are doing important work, and the way we tell their story should reflect that.

You'll spend time with the team and health providers, learning how health funding works, why it matters, and how HaltH is making it radically easier.

Suggested structure

Based on the filming and editing workload, here's how we see a typical fortnight:

- 1 day - In the field. Filming on location at provider clinics alongside the HaltH team. Capturing raw content: behind-the-scenes moments, provider stories, product demos, team energy.
- 2-3 days - Editing and production. Cutting footage into short-form reels, long-form video, carousels, and stills. Writing captions, building narratives, adding motion graphics or subtitles where needed.
- 1-2 days - Scheduling, publishing, community management, and strategy. Planning the content calendar, posting across platforms, engaging with the community, reviewing analytics, and refining what's working.

Total: approximately 4-6 days per fortnight (part-time to full-time, depending on the candidate and content volume).

This structure flexes. Some fortnights will be heavier on filming (events, multi-clinic shoots), others heavier on editing. The right person will know how to manage the rhythm.

HaltH sits at the intersection of health, finance, and technology - three categories that are traditionally hard to make exciting on social media. Your challenge is to make this space unmissable.

You'll need to find the human stories inside a payments platform. The provider who finally stopped wrestling with a HICAPS terminal. The patient who saw their health funding for the first time and understood what was available to them. The team shipping product at pace from Surry Hills.

The best candidate won't just film content - they'll build a content engine that turns real moments into real engagement, and real engagement into real growth.

What you'll do

- Attend 1 dedicated filming day per fortnight with the HaltH team, on location at health provider clinics across Sydney (and occasionally beyond)
- Capture high-quality video and photo content in clinical and professional settings - comfortably, respectfully, and with an eye for authentic moments
- Edit raw footage into platform-native content: Instagram Reels,

LinkedIn posts, Facebook shorts, and long-form pieces
- Write compelling captions and copy that match HaltH's voice - clear, human, purpose-driven
- Build, maintain, and execute a content calendar across all active platforms
- Track performance metrics and use data to inform content decisions - what's resonating, what's not, and what to try next
- Collaborate closely with the Growth and Product teams to align content with launches, campaigns, and provider acquisition goals
- Engage with the online community daily - responding, sparking conversation, and growing HaltH's presence in the health provider world

What you bring

- Proven experience creating social media content that drives real engagement - not vanity metrics, but content people actually interact with
- Strong video production skills: you can shoot on a phone or camera, and you can edit with tools like CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut
- A portfolio or body of work that shows you can turn raw, unscripted footage into something people want to watch
- Comfort working on location - you can move with a team, read a room, and capture authentic moments without disrupting them
- A strong instinct for collaborative storytelling, especially content that features real people and real interactions
- Understanding of platform algorithms, scheduling tools, and what makes content perform on Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook
- Excellent written communication - you can write captions, scripts, and copy that feel human and on-brand

And importantly:

- A genuine interest in health and wellness - or a hunger to immerse yourself in the space
- The ability to work independently, manage your own time, and deliver consistently without being chased
- Comfort in a startup environment where you'll shape the role as much as the role shapes you
- We're intentional, well supported, and building for long-term impact
- You'll work on challenges that matter deeply to people and communities
- You'll have ownership and influence from day one
- Your ideas will shape the product, the company, and the category itself
- You'll receive equity and think like an owner
- You'll grow quickly while building something important, at pace, in the open
- You'll join a team guided by clarity, honesty, magic, and purpose

Location

This is a Sydney-based role with regular in-field filming days across the city.

Editing and scheduling work can be done flexibly, but you'll need to be available for in-person filming days and team sessions in Surry Hills.

We believe the best content comes from being present - in the room, in the clinic, in the moment.
