Big rebate news for business owners: save up to 20% on commercial solar.

Energy Solution Centre is expanding its installation team and we are looking for a high-calibre Qualified Electrician with a Solar Ticket to join us on the Gold Coast.

This is not volume work. This is not rushed installs on tight margins with no support. This is high-end residential and light commercial solar and battery work, delivered properly, with a crew behind you and a warehouse that is ready before you arrive.

If you are tired of disorganised job sites, last-minute reshuffling, long drives, and being left to figure things out on your own, this setup is different. We have built an operation that supports installers rather than burning through them.

We are offering a $5,000 sign-on bonus for the right candidate, a company vehicle, and a package that reflects your experience level and the responsibility you want to take on.

The Work

You will be leading or working within a crew delivering premium solar and battery systems across the Gold Coast. The work is structured, well-scoped, and backed by proper design and technical support.

- Residential systems: 8kW to 20kW
- Light commercial systems: 20kW to 100kW and above
- Crew size: 3 to 5 installers with apprentice support
- Travel: Gold Coast based with minimal travel required

Role Flexibility and Career Path

We understand that experienced electricians are not all looking for the same thing. We are open to structuring this role around your experience, your preferred level of responsibility, and where you want to take your career. Current opportunities include:

- Lead Accredited Installer
- 3rd and 4th year Apprentices
- Senior Electrician within a crew
- Future Install Manager as we continue to expand

Your package will be structured to reflect your experience, your leadership level, and the role you step into.

Hours and Working Arrangements

- Standard hours Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 3:00pm variable
- Optional weekend installs available for those who want the additional hours

- Structured scheduling with no last-minute chaos or reshuffling
- Overtime paid at ERTC rates

What We Are Looking For

To be considered for this role you must have:

- A valid Queensland electrical licence
- A White Card (Construction Induction Safety)
- Current Low Voltage Rescue First Aid accreditation

The following will put your application ahead:

- CEC Accreditation (strongly preferred)
- Residential and commercial solar installation experience
- Battery system installation experience
- Previous experience in a Lead Installer or Team Leader capacity

What You Get

- Base salary plus structured installer bonuses for quality workmanship
- $5k to join ESC
- Company vehicle and fuel
- High-end tools and equipment provided
- Overtime paid at ERTC rates
- OTE of $100,000 to $180,000 and above depending on role and experience
- Regular team events and a team culture that people actually enjoy
- Long-term career progression within a growing business

The Support and Standards You Can Expect

We know what makes a positive job site and we know what makes a miserable one. ESC is built around the former.

- Clean, organised warehouse with no morning chaos
- Jobs prepared and prepped properly before you arrive on site
- Supervisors available when you need support
- High standards because if we put our name on it, it’s done right
- Regular team events and get-togethers that people actually enjoy

Skill Growth

You will not be stuck doing the same basic work every day. As part of the ESC install team you will gain exposure to:

- Battery systems and energy gateways
- Advanced monitoring and system diagnostics
- Off-grid system installations
- Commercial installs at scale

- High-end residential projects with complex requirements

Your skills continue to grow here. That is not something every installation role can offer.

This Role Is Not For Everyone

We want to be straightforward with you.

If you cut corners, chase cash without caring about quality, or treat every job as something to get through rather than get right, this is not the place for you. This role is for installers who take genuine pride in their work and want to be part of something solid for the long term.

For installers who want a long runway, ESC offers a genuine path forward:

- 1 Leading multiple install crews
- 2 Site Supervisor or Install Manager
- 3 Running regional install teams
- 4 Long-term operational leadership within the business

Performance and quality open those doors. We are growing and the right people grow with us.
