Old Mutual offers a 12-month Trainee Underwriter programme designed to develop individuals current to risk underwriting. It provides training with mentorship, aims to teach underwriting decisions, and culminates in eligibility for a permanent role in the underwriting team.

The curriculum covers health condition analysis, exposure assessments, and customer-care excellence while performing underwriting information capture and client communications.
