Job Description
ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
This role will commence in January 2027 on an initial 5-year contract, with a further contract subject to satisfactory performance.
Reporting to the Director of Teaching & Learning, the successful candidate will be responsible for the management of timetabling, assessment and reporting processes, and the organisation and reporting of data which supports teaching and learning within the School.
Responsibilities of the Role
- Develop and maintain tools for effective management of student subject selection processes, and prepare timely information for the Director of Teaching & Learning regarding student subject preferences;
- Manage student subject selection and class allocations for Years 7-12 timetables;
- Assist the Director of Teaching & Learning with the establishment and maintenance of a Learning Management System, including ongoing reviews of content, pedagogical applications and upskilling of staff;
- Teaching duties as directed by the Director of Teaching & Learning;
- Establish and maintain effective assessment and reporting processes that enable continuous and end-of-semester reporting to parents and provide accurate point-in-time individual student GPA calculations;
- Provide the Director of Teaching & Learning with accurate and up-to-date assessment data, including but not limited to internal assessment results, NAPLAN, ATAR, PAT, and ICAS data, and participate in analysis as directed by the Director of Teaching & Learning to identify trends and opportunities for improved practices;
- Foster positive collegial relationships which will support a holistic approach to education.
To be successful in this opportunity, you require:
- Current Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration;
- A degree or higher in the relevant field and a teaching qualification;
- Ability to work collaboratively and professionally with staff across the School to support shared objectives;
- Outstanding teaching practice and proficiency in using ICT for data collection and analysis;
- Willingness to support our shared Purpose Statement and the School’s values;
- High level of skilled standards, conduct, and an understanding of appropriate qualified boundaries when working with children and young people;
- Demonstrated commitment to the Christian faith and Anglican ethos of the School.
