About the role
As the Enterprise Systems Solutions Officer, you will support the development, administration, maintenance, testing and effective use of Council’s enterprise systems. Your main focus will be TechnologyOne Human Resources and Payroll, with opportunities to support other corporate systems when required.
You will work with employees and internal teams to understand business needs, investigate system issues and identify practical solutions. You will analyse systems, data and processes, configure and test improvements, provide clear advice to users, and take ownership of issues through to resolution. Your work will help ensure Council’s systems are reliable, well understood and used effectively to support business operations.
This is a full-time permanent (38 hours per week) band 6 role with a salary range between $101,139 and $110,243 per annum, plus superannuation.

Experience and skills we’re looking for
- Experience administering, configuring and supporting Human Resources and Payroll systems, TechnologyOne experience is highly valuable.
- Experience investigating and resolving software or system issues from initial report through to resolution.
- The ability to gather and analyse information from different sources to identify issues, trends and improvement opportunities.
- Experience translating business needs into practical system or process solutions.
- The ability to evaluate options and recommend an appropriate course of action based on evidence.
- Experience testing system changes and supporting their implementation.
- The ability to map, review and improve business processes.
- Strong customer service skills, including the ability to clarify user needs, manage expectations and provide timely updates.
- The ability to explain technical information and system instructions clearly to people with different levels of technical knowledge.
- Strong organisation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines and take ownership of outcomes.
