Executive General Manager - Intrinsic Health Group

Some leaders look at a clinic and see a clinic. You see the network it could become!

If that sounds like the way your mind works, keep reading.

Intrinsic Health Group is growing, and our allied health business is at a defining point in its story. We’re expanding into new regions, opening new offices and growing our network of clinical and movement centres. We’re also building something genuinely different, with world first ambitions and Australian first technology shaping what comes next.

We need an executive who can lead that growth with ambition and integrity in equal measure. Someone who loves to win, and loves it most when clients, clinicians and the business all win together.

What you’ll lead.

- Growth. Identify and pursue new markets, services and locations, grow our client base through partnerships and outreach, and work with the Executive team on expansion plans built to last.
- Clinical excellence. Lead clinical governance, accreditation and regulatory compliance, and foster a culture of safety and evidence based practice. Growth only counts when the care is excellent.
- Service transformation. Rethink service models, pricing and processes to improve access, efficiency and outcomes, and bring new technology into the way we deliver care.
- Performance. Own annual work plans, budgets and financial reporting, set clear KPIs and turn good performance into great performance.
- People and capability. Lead clinicians, allied health managers and multidisciplinary teams, and build the workforce plans, leadership development and succession that growth demands.
- The voice of allied health.

Represent us in executive forums, panels and advisory councils, and build strong relationships with health services, community partners, funders and government.

Skills get you shortlisted. This is the part that gets you hired.

- We care as much about how you lead as what you’ve achieved. You’ll probably be the person who:
- Sees opportunity first, and stays realistic about what it will take to get there.
- Is competitive in the best possible way. Ambitious goals, measurable results and a team that shares the credit.
- Is a clinician at heart and a commercial leader by choice, equally at ease with a care plan and a P&L.;
- Listens first, earns trust quickly and builds the kind of environment where talented people want to do their best work.
- Makes confident calls without every variable neatly packaged, and is secure enough to ask for help when it counts.
- Steps up without being asked, and follows through on every commitment.
- Brings energy, warmth and a good sense of humour, and knows when the moment calls for serious.
- Stays curious. “What if we tried this?” is a question you ask often, and enjoy answering.

What you’ll bring.

- A tertiary qualification in an allied health discipline, with current registration where applicable.
- Extensive experience leading,

inspiring and supporting multidisciplinary allied health teams in a complex healthcare environment.
- A proven record of driving growth, change and service excellence.
- Sound financial management, budgeting and compliance capability, and the ability to work independently under pressure.
- Highly developed emotional intelligence, and a talent for building strong relationships inside and outside the organisation.
- A demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence, equity and culturally protected care.

Postgraduate qualifications in health management, leadership or a related field are desirable. You’ll need a current driver licence, a registered and insured vehicle, a Working with Children Check and an NDIS Worker Screening Check. Influenza vaccination is recommended.

Why this role.

Because there’s a lot to build, and that’s the fun part. You’ll report to the Group Executive, Operations & Deputy CEO and help shape where we expand, how our teams perform and what the future of allied health looks like. Ideas don’t sit in a slide deck here. They move from a conversation to something real.

No smoke. No mirrors. Just a growing business and the leader ready to take it further.

Now you see the clinic.

Now you see the network.

Now you see yourself leading it.

Apply with your CV and a short note telling us what you’d build first. We’d genuinely like to read it.

Intrinsic Health Group welcomes applications from people of all backgrounds, ages, abilities and identities. We know that different minds make better decisions.
